The Leicestershire County Show is a two-day annual event, organised by the Leicestershire Agricultural Society. The event celebrates rural life with livestock and equine classes and a wide range of family entertainment.

Originally formed by a group of Leicestershire farmers as long ago as 1833, the Leicestershire Agricultural Show was designed to promote improvements in agriculture, share new farming techniques and exhibit new equipment.  The same ideals still exist today, but with more competitions, side shows and attractions suitable for all the family; a real slice of country life where children and adults have an opportunity to get up close to farm animals.

In the early days, Victoria Park in Leicester was used to host the event; in more recent years Melton Mowbray became the host town until Market Harborough took over in 2016.  With its new custom-built 85-acre site adjacent to the Airfield Business Park, and situated a mile outside the town centre, we are delighted with this fantastic venue!  In 2017, numbers increased to an impressive 13,000 and we are confident these numbers will exceed further!
